Charity at LMVC

Loughborough Male Voice Choir is a charity registered with HMRC, in line with the
Finance Act 2010. It is a non-profit making organisation, currently progressing
towards a Charitable Organisation Status. Income derived from its fund-raising
activities, including member subscription, proceeds from its singing engagements,
and other occasional activities, all support the expenditure associated with venue-
hire, the purchase of music, and professional fees.

Singing engagements, generally, have an associated charitable dimension to them,
through direct contributions to national and local charities, or supporting the hosts of
the engagement in their charitable fund-raising.
